Hi loves!,
Tonight I bring you the fabulousness of indie bath products! So I am sure most all of us are familiar with something known as a bath bomb right? For those of you who may not be familiar with bath bombs, I will give just a brief overview; basically you drop it into your bathwater and amazing things happen! There's amazing aromas, color changing water, fizz, Fireworks (well no, but there might as well be because these things are the bomb literally!)..
I have discovered an indie gem known as Dollface Bath and Beauty who in my opinion has the bath bomb; a product I once would have only purchased at Lush down packed! These products are fabulous in presentation, scent and price point!
Dollface Bath and Beauty is an indie bath and beauty company based out of Northern California specializing in the production of handmade bath and beauty products utilizing natural ingredients. Dollface Bath and Beauty's specialties include not only bath bombs but also cupcake bombs, sugar and salt scrubs, bubble bars and more! I think what sets this amazing company apart from others is the owners willingness to create completely customized orders.
Recently Dollface Bath and Beauty hosted a giveaway on their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/dollfacesuds?fref=ts, which I was fortunate enough to win allowing me to test out and review these fab goodies for you all. So what did I get? I was sent two peep scented bath bombs and one root beer float bomb. From the moment I opened the package I was hit with the most amazing smelling awesomeness ever! Even my hubby who usually could care less about things like this made a comment about how amazing the root beer float bomb smelled! And my seven year old cannot get enough of the peep scent :) These babies are family approved.

Notoriously Morbid: final thoughts
I honestly have no negative comments whatsoever to say about Notoriously Morbid, and not just because I am doing a review; but because I honestly really love the products that much. More than that I really enjoy the people who work to create these amazing products, I think that the owner Carrie and her partner in crime Laura are really awesome people who have a solid business under their belts and genuinely put forth a lot of effort in maintaining customer service :)
Pros:
-products are amazingly affordable and shockingly you are getting a tong more for your money than some other indie companies are offering for the same if not more money
- Highly pigmented!!
-Easy to work with
-Great range of color, they have anything from dark red, bright glittery red, beautiful teal, taupe, gorgeous browns, and even blacks. Soon to arrive will be a matte collection this month!
Cons:
If you find one let me know :)
Would I recommend or repurchase?
- Most certainly and without a doubt I will be placing more orders with Notoriously Morbid! Check them out on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NotoriouslyMorbid?fref=ts they post swatches, deals on Fridays and much more, trust me you wont regret it.

Notoriously Morbid: First impressions part 2 (swatches)
In part one of my Notoriously Morbid first impressions review I posted about the blogger review kit that I ordered and the amazing random samples that were hand selected by Carrie the owner of Notoriously morbid for me to review. I showed some photos of what my kit actually included, the five sample size baggies and the one full size shadow in the shade Morgana (amazing shade btw! get it now!!). Part two of this review will show all the swatches of the goodies I was sent, so sit back and enjoy the show :)

Notoriously Morbid : First impressions part 1
I am fairly new to the world of indie cosmetics, really the only other brands I have tried out are Glamourdolleyes and a few Darkheartdesigns products, both of which have been good quality. Notoriously Morbid is a name I first heard about through a blog called Indieknow.net which explores not only the world of indie cosmetics but also perfumes, and even skin care. While browsing swatches one day I came across the most amazing photo of Notoriously Morbids shadow called the Doctor's Wife. That single swatch of the semi matte dark blue with silver and blue sparkles instantly started my love affair with Notoriously Morbid and I knew I had to seek them out and get my hands on some of these amazing shadows myself!
I placed a combined order on February 24 and 26 and received my order approximately 11 days later which is not bad at all, the best part is I actually got a refund on my shipping for one of the orders as well which was very nice of them.
I included a blogger review pack with my order which included one full size shadow and 5 sample baggies for $5. I selected to have my kit contain all random picks, and I must say Carrie (the owner of Notoriously Morbid) did a fantastic job of selecting my shades because I love them all! Honestly I had been eying more than a few of them to purchase, so I am extremely happy to have an opportunity to try them out.
So you are probably wondering what I ordered right? I have rambled on for a good while now and I haven't shared any pictures with you (I'm terrible I know!!). Well loves I wont keep you waiting any longer :)

Glamourdolleyes: Grenade look
Face of the day breakdown:
Foundation- Loreal true match Lumi
Set powder- Smashbox Halo
Under eye- Bare mineral well rested illuminator, Bare mineral well rested powder
Contour- Smashbox matte bronzer in suntan
Blush- Mac extra dimension high light superb
Eyes- I first applied Benefit skinny jeans creaseless cream shadow as base all over the lid then blended slightly into crease. Next I went in with Glamourdolleyes Grenade pigment which I applied on top of skinny jeans with a flat brush, then I took a large fluffy brush and blended out the crease to diffuse any harshness. I went back in with grenade and Galmourdolleyes foil me and applied grenade foiled into the inner half of the eye and blended that out. I then took Urban decay mars 24/7 liner and smudged that along the lower lash line, blended that out with a pencil brush to blow the color out and topped it with a bit of grenade. I finished the look off with a coat of black mascara from Milani.
Lips- Tarte cosmetics exposed power pigment lip tint

Go to makeup, Bronze and copper for brown eyes FOTD
Everyone has power colors, or shades that they just feel amazing in right? Well for me those shades are copper, gold's, and bronze colors! I have warm brown eyes with a hint of what my husband calls honey in them and these shades I feel amp up the honey tone in my eyes which is why I tend to gravitate towards them.
My picks to name a few:
For the rest of the face I bronzed with Maybelline's new Master Glaze cream sticks in the shade warm nude then applied a cream blush from butter London in the shade Honey Pie not only on the cheek bone but towards my temple as well for a warm glow. I set the whole face with a translucent setting powder from too faced.
For the lips I opted to keep it very simple and just went with a tinted balm from the brand Sugar which I have to admit although pricey is by far the best balm I have ever used!
My picks to name a few:
- Benefit Kiss me I'm Tipsy
- Glamourdolleyes Morocco
- Benefit creaseless cream shadow in my two cents
- Mac wood winked
- Too faced hazelnut and crème brulee (from chocolate palette)
- Urban decay 24/7 liners in roach and twice baked

Tarte Cosmetics: Power pigment lip tints
If you are a Tarte cosmetics follower on instagram you know that from time to time Tarte hosts giveaways, and when Tarte isn't directly hosting them some of the awesome Tarte team members such as Jen Tarte are :)
This past Valentines I was lucky enough to win one of Jen Tartes amazing giveaways on instagram! Jen hosted a giveaway called kissntell, during which she asked all of us tartelettes to take a photo of our kiss marks with the names of our very first kiss (aww how cute!!), for all of you wondering mine was a guy named Josh way back when in middle school (aww again right)...So what did I win for being a kiss and tell? Well how about I show you..
I was sent seven of the new power pigment lip tints! Kind of a jaw dropping moment for me, considering I honestly was never expecting that many goodies!! I was just blown away (I should kiss and tell more often right!)..
Anyhow, these are amazing! Power pigment is a great name for these babies because they really do have great pigmentation, and they are incredibly hydrating to boot which is always a major plus in my book when we are talking about lipsticks.

Not my best swatch work (my camera battery was dying!) but as you can see these lippies have beautiful pigmentation. I absolutely love the berry red shades from this collection. I will say though, the lighter pink shades are a bit milky on the lips, so they can settle into those fine lines, I would suggest exfoliating lips before applying the lighter shades in this collection to try and minimize that, but all in all these are absolute perfection and they are very buildable and layer able with one another ;)
